You might be better off to sell one and buy a Hemi 4 speed. They are stout and shift well. That would make your bellhousing and clutch shopping much easier. I race with two Stickshift groups and the trans of choice for a 4 speed clutch assisted is by far the G101A or the Jericho DR4. But most of the guys run a clutchless 5 speed, either Liberty or G2000. I ran a 101A for 5 seasons behind a 650hp, 3000 pound car with good service. Finally went to the G2000 and wish I would have done it sooner.

I think you at least need to step up to a Richmond 4 speed (iron case) or a Richmond 5 speed, if you want a manual transmission. A friend has a solid roller 468 that makes about 525-550 rwhp. He has a Jerico 4 speed with a Gear Vendors o/d unit. His Jerico has the same package for synchros, etc. that the Nascar Cup cars use on road courses.

All Muncie 4 speeds are not the same. Personally I'd look for an np833. But if you go Muncie before you install it,look real hard,the counter shaft actually goes through the transmission case the only thing sealing it is the.interference fit between the shaft and the case,make sure the one you buy is not wallered out there.
